Posted on September 14th, 2009 No commentsIf you’re old like me and hate staying out late but love free beer, come out to Beerland on Wednesday the 16th for this Do512.com/Better Than The Van/Bandize “happy hour” thing we’re playing. I’m not sure what the occasion is, but the show is free and there will be free Lone Star and I know you like that. The show is early early, and we play at 7:30pm.

SXSW

SXSW is upon us and it is already awesome. A lot of locals complain about all the out-of-towners, but I always have fun this week making a bunch of new friends, hearing new music and getting 3 hours of sleep.
We’ll be spending most of the week checking out other bands, but we do have one show ourselves. Its an unofficial SXSW wrap party/birthday party of sorts on Sunday, the 22nd, at 1906 Studios, located at 3rd & Chicon. Also on the bill are New York’s So So Glos and DJ Ben Blood. The party is free, and your best friend FREE BEER will be there. Things should get started around 7PM. We will be playing some new songs you’ve never heard before. Come out! Bring your friends!
